Terms of Service

2026.09.29

These terms set out how you may use the METHEUS service provided by IDeA Ocean Inc. (the "Company"). Please read them before you use the service.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Company and users in using the METHEUS software, the METHEUS Console (console.metheus.ai), METHEUS accounts and related services (the "Service").

Article 2 (Definitions)

The following terms have these meanings.

"User" means an individual or a legal entity that agrees to these terms and uses the Service.

"Account" means a METHEUS account created with an email verification code or a connected Google account. The same account can sign in to other services the Company provides, such as METHEUS HUB.

"Workspace" means a personal or organization space for using the Service.

"User content" means design requirements, files, CAD data, conversations and other material a user enters or uploads.

"Outputs" means design candidates, 3D models, analysis results, reports and other results the Service creates at a user's request.

"Credits" means the unit used to record usage of the Service and manage usage limits.

Article 3 (Posting and changes)

The Company posts these terms on the METHEUS site (metheus.ai).

The Company may change these terms within the limits of applicable law. Changes are announced on the site and in the Console 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before if they are unfavorable to users.

If you do not agree to the changed terms, you may stop using the Service and delete your account. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the changes.

Article 4 (Forming the agreement)

When you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy and sign in with an email verification code or a Google account, your account is created and this agreement takes effect.

You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.

The Company may refuse or end an account created with someone else's information or with false information.

Article 5 (Open beta)

The Service is currently offered as an open beta, and every feature is free during the beta.

During the beta, features, screens and usage limits may change, and the Service may pause for maintenance or errors. Important changes are announced on the site and in the Console.

If paid plans are introduced after launch, the Company will announce prices and payment terms in advance and will charge only users who agree to them.

Article 6 (What the Service includes)

The Company provides the following.

METHEUS app: entering design requirements, generating design candidates, detailed design, engineering analysis and design reports

METHEUS Console: checking your credit allowance and credit usage, reading chat records, and managing workspaces and members

Other services the Company announces

Article 7 (Usage limits and credits)

AI features can be used within your daily and weekly credit allowance. Your allowance and credit usage are shown in the Console.

Credits record usage. They are not cash or a means of payment, and they cannot be transferred or refunded.

If you choose to agree to the collection and use of your work data, your daily and weekly allowance is doubled. You can withdraw this consent at any time in the Console settings, and your allowance returns to its normal level.

Article 8 (Managing your account)

You manage your own account and sign-in methods (email, Google account), and you may not transfer or lend them to anyone else.

If you learn that your account has been misused, tell the Company right away.

The owner of an organization workspace manages member invitations, roles and removal, and is responsible for managing members' use within the organization.

Article 9 (User obligations)

You must not do any of the following.

Use someone else's information

Enter or use other people's designs, drawings or other intellectual property without permission

Reverse engineer or copy the Service without permission, or disrupt its operation with automated bulk requests

Bypass security measures or exploit vulnerabilities

Use the Service for designs that are prohibited by law or intended to harm people

Article 10 (User content and outputs)

Rights to user content belong to the user or the rightful owner.

You may use outputs freely to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The Company uses user content only as needed to provide the Service (storing, processing, analyzing and displaying it).

The Company uses work data for AI training and service improvement only when the user has agreed to its collection and use.

Rights to the Service itself, including the METHEUS software, design engines, trademarks and screen designs, belong to the Company.

Article 11 (Reviewing outputs)

Outputs provided by METHEUS are reference materials intended to support design work. Because they are produced by AI and automated design and analysis engines, they may contain errors or differ from real manufacturing and operating conditions.

You are responsible for verifying the accuracy and safety of outputs before manufacturing or use, and for making the final decision on whether to apply them. Before using outputs for manufacturing, sale or any safety-related purpose, you must have them reviewed by a qualified engineer and complete any required testing and certification.

The Company does not guarantee that outputs are free of errors or fit for a particular purpose.

Article 12 (Changes and interruptions)

The Company may pause the Service for maintenance, equipment failures, or outages of external services such as cloud and AI model providers.

If the Company ends part or all of the Service, it will announce this 30 days in advance and give users a chance to review their chat records and other data before it ends.

Article 13 (Ending the agreement and restrictions)

You may end this agreement at any time by deleting your account in the Console settings.

If you break Article 9, the Company may warn you, suspend your account or end it. Except in urgent cases, the Company will tell you the reason in advance.

When the agreement ends, your information is handled according to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Article 14 (Limitation of liability)

The Company is not liable for damage caused by events without its intent or negligence, such as natural disasters, the user's own fault or outages of external services.

During the free open beta, to the extent permitted by applicable law, the Company is not liable for damage arising from use of the Service unless it results from the Company's intent or gross negligence.

The same applies to damage caused by using outputs without the verification and review described in Article 11.

Article 15 (Personal information)

The Company protects users' personal information according to its Privacy Policy, which describes what is collected, why and for how long.

Article 16 (Notices)

The Company sends notices to your account email or posts them on the site and in the Console.

Article 17 (Governing law and disputes)

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Disputes about the Service are first resolved through discussion. If a lawsuit is needed, it is heard by the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.

Addendum

These terms take effect on September 29, 2026.
